Day 4: Clearing the Shelves
Sort through the decorative items all the shelves and surfaces in the house (excluding books.)

Go through your fridge, freezer and pantry cupboards and see what’s still in date. Make a plan to use the things that are nearing the date and get rid of the things that have expired.

Go through your books and recycle any that have been lying unread on your shelves and are just gathering dust.

Day 8: Start on the Bedroom(s)
Start by getting discarding anything (other than clothes) that you no longer love. This can include furniture, ornaments, stuff in drawers or surfaces.

Take out all the clothes from your wardrobe or closet and put them on the bed. Sort them into piles so you can see what you’ve got. Keep only the clothes you feel great about. Be decisive and let go of outdated looks or sizes.

This is the day you get to clean out all the junk drawers. You know the ones that you dump things in. Clean them out. Find homes for EVERYTHING you want to keep, discard the junk. These can be office drawers, kitchen drawers or drawers in the bedroom.

only keep the clothes you love, that fit you and that you feel good wearing. Let go of the rest, donate, give away or use for rags. Fold the rest up neatly and enjoy the extra space!
